CRSC’s Vision

This ministry has been designed to help the community by providing supplemental and affordable counseling in the context of the church. Many pastors do not have the time to commit to ongoing pastoral counseling of individuals, married couples, and families. As a result, they must limit the amount of counseling sessions they offer. Often counseling services in the community do not address the spiritual aspects of people’s problems or take advantage of the spiritual resources that we have as Christians. The vision of Cross Roads Soul Care is to fill that void by offering quality, affordable Biblical Counseling through community churches.

Counseling costs can be excessive; a normal session runs between $75 and $90 depending on circumstances. CRSC wants to keep the cost to the client low by using host churches that are conveniently located to the clients. A host church provides a comfortable place to counsel and reduces CRSC's overhead considerably. Through generous donations from private individuals, businesses, and churches the cost to individuals and families are further reduced. Our goal is to provide counselling for approximately one third of the usual cost -- as little as $25 for an individual session.
